SIRSA, India, May 2, 2019 /PRNewswire/ --

Amid millions of devotees, Dera Sacha Sauda followers celebrated its Foundation day with full zeal and enthusiasm worldwide. Following the pious teachings of Saint Dr. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan, the followers celebrate each milestone with welfare activities

and Foundation Day calls for massive humanitarian works. Free Medical Screening and Blood Donation Camps, houses to homeless, distribution of tricycles, stationary and other grocery items to poor and needy were some of the highlights of the celebrations.

Specialist doctors from various parts of the country provided their invaluable services in the free medical screening camp which was attended by thousands. 1154 patients were screened in the medical check-up camp while 4912 units of blood were collected as part of Blood Donation Camp, by teams from various locations across the country. District Health Department appreciated the services of the doctors and paramedic teams.

April, being the peak time for wheat harvesting, it is a period when people are quite tied up with farms and allied services. Braving the summer heat and the farms calling, devotees' participation in the celebration was beyond anyone's belief. The congregation program started with the playing of recorded Satsangs of Guru Ji and the followers were absorbed in the sermons and motivational teachings rendered on screens. Devotees also pledged to take part in 134 humanitarian works initiated by Rev. Guru ji Saint Gurmeet Ram Rahim Rahim Singh Insan with more dedication.  April 29th, apart from being the foundation Day of DSS, also coincides with the Anniversary of 'Jaam-E-Insan Guru Ka', the nectar of humanity, initiated by Rev. Guru Ji. 'Jaam-e-Insan Guru Ka' was initiated on 29th April 2007, a unique initiation in spirituality, where five million devotees, including  advocates, doctors, engineers etc. took oath to come out of age-old, rigid systems of castes and focus on the real purpose of human being.

As part of the Foundation Day celebrations, members of the respectable royal family were present including respected Mata Naseeb Kaur Ji Insan (Rev Guru Saint Dr. Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji's Honorable Mother). Langar-Prasad was distributed in a few minutes and water was served earnestly during the celebrations. Several medical teams were also deployed to take care of any contingency. Traffic arrangements were much appreciated by all present, as catering to such huge crowd, needs much discipline and the same was visible everywhere. Eight couples tied the nuptial knot by exchanging garlands in the Naamcharcha program.

Dera's Senior Vice Chairperson Shobha Insan mentioned that every year this month is celebrated by followers of Dera Sacha Sauda, with great passion. The entire month is celebrated by organizing various welfare works by followers.
