Some 60+ NGOs and important stakeholders and associations in the health sector, including MOHAN Foundation, Organ India, Indian Medical Association, NOTTO, ORBO, National Eye Bank, Amma Eye-Organ-Body Donation Promoters Organisation, The Federation of Organ and Body Donation, Eye Bank Association of India and others have consented to participate.

The Central Ministers Shri Mansukh Mandaviya, Ms. Meenakshi Lekhi, Ms. Bharati Praveen Panwar, former Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan and Shri Sushil Modi have also consented to participate. Shri Rajesh Bhushan, Secretary, Health and Shri Atul Goel, DGHS, Bharat will also address the Conclave.

Dadhichi expects that this Conclave shall consider and give rise to the massive nationwide campaign for popularizing the cause of Body-Organ-Tissue Donation.

"Formed in 1997, Dadhichi Deh Dan Samiti has been the torch-bearer in spreading awareness on Body-Organ donations. Our primary aim is to make people realize how the donated body/organs of a deceased/donor can be life-saving for persons in dire need. Over 300 volunteers of our Samiti take each step with the utmost delicacy and ensure a smooth process of donation without any hassles to the donor family" said, Dadhichi Deh Dan Samiti Patron Alok Kumar, Sr. Advocate.

Kumar further added that the Samiti plays a pivotal role in bridging the gap between the donor's family and the government hospitals and medical colleges, who can use the donated body organs for research and in medical emergencies. "Till now more than 17 thousand donors have given their consent towards the virtuous cause of body organ donation. Over the last 25 years, Dadhichi Deh Dan Samiti has facilitated 353 body donation, 870 pairs of eye donations, six organ donations, two bone donations and three skin donations," said Alok Kumar.

"India is far behind other developing countries in terms of organ donation despite having one of the largest populations. Major reasons behind this can be the lack of public awareness, religious taboos, and complicated laws and apathetic government structure. It is our firm belief that through this campaign, we will achieve our target to encourage more and more people towards body-organ-eye donation," noted President of Dadhichi Deh Dan Samiti Harsh Malhotra.
