Bernard Boulanger, MD, is executive vice president and chief clinical officer of The MetroHealth System in Cleveland. He is charged with aligning the organization's operational and clinical efforts. Dr. Boulanger will address business and technology solutions for healthcare as well as the use of data analytics in the operating room during two panel discussions on Thursday, May 2.
Chris DeRienzo, MD, is chief medical officer of Cardinal Analytx. He has previous experience as chief quality officer for Asheville, N.C.-based Mission Health, where he was responsible for quality, safety and service excellence across the seven-hospital health system. Dr. DeRienzo will give a keynote presentation about the intersection of medicine, humanity and technology on Friday, May 3.
Patricia Hart, DPN, RN, associate chief nursing officer for inpatient and ambulatory services at Charleston-based Medical University of South Carolina, is also a keynote speaker at the event. Prior to joining MUSC in 2016, she was the director of nursing for women's and children's services at Penn State Hershey (Pa.) Medical Center. Dr. Hart will join two expert panels Thursday, May 2, to share her insights.
