Medical Word - Fasting Blood Glucose Test

Ans : A diagnostic test for diabetes that is done at a laboratory or doctor's office. The procedure involves testing a blood sample, which is usually taken in the morning before eating, for glucose. A level >140 mg/dl is generally considered diagnostic for diabetes (except in newborns and some pregnant women).
