output, electrolytes, glucose, and calcium. G. Initial antibiotic therapy: The choice of the antibiotic initially is based on the probable organism as suspected by clinical features or as per the common organism for the age.Refer Table 1 &
2. H. Dexamethasone at the dose of .15mg/kg/dose should be administered with or prior to antibiotics to reduce the risk of sensorineural deafness.
