  Central nervous system- Fever, headache, tiredness, fainting, weakness, numbness and increased sensitivity in hand and foot.

  Gastrointestinal- Vomiting, abdominal pain, nausea and metallic taste.

  Blood- Decrease in blood count.

  Liver- Transient increase in bilirubin level.

  Musculoskeletal- Tingling and peripheral neuropathy.

  Eye- Eye diseases and eye problems.

  Genitourinary- Presence of protein in urine and kidney impairment.

Other Precautions :

Suramin(Germanin) generic is prescribed for sleeping sickness, onchocerciasis (river blindness) and some infections caused by parasites. It works by causing the parasites to lose energy, which causes their death.
