Side effect(s) of Streptozocin

Gastrointestinal- Diarrhea, nausea and vomiting.

Liver- Elevated liver enzyme level.

Blood- Decrease in leucocytes and platelet count.

Metabolic- Decrease in sugar level.

Genitourinary- Decreased urination.

Central Nervous System- Dizziness, drowsiness, lightheadedness and weakness.

Skin- Rash and itching.

Streptozocin(Zanosar) generic is an alkylating agent (chemotherapy drug), prescribed for pancreatic cancer. It stops the growth of cancer cells.
