Side effect(s) of Sarecycline

Read the side effects of Sarecycline as described in the medical literature. In case of any doubt consult your doctor or pharmacist.

Gastrointestinal: Nausea, watery or bloody stools, stomach pain, stomach irritation

Nervous system: Light-headedness, vertigo, headache, dizziness, abnormal pressure in the brain

Others: Reversible bone growth, blurred vision, vision loss, sunburn, rashes, decreased sperm count

Other Precautions : If superinfection such as the growth of micro-organisms including fungi occurs, the treatment with sarecycline should be discontinued and the patients must be treated accordingly.

Sunburns have been reported during sarecycline treatment, and patients should be advised to avoid or minimize the exposure to direct sunlight, tanning beds, and therapy with Ultraviolet A or B (UV A/B) radiations.

Drug Name : Sarecycline

Oral sarecycline tablets were approved by FDA to treat pimples or red bumps with pus in patients. Medically it is used for non-nodular moderate to severe acne vulgaris in anyone nine years or older.It is a tetracycline-derived antibiotic.
