Side effect(s) of Rucaparib

General : Weakness, fatigue

Gastrointestinal: Nausea, vomiting, constipation, diarrhea, stomach pain, and loss of appetite or taste.

Skin : Itching, increased sensitivity to light.

Blood : Anemia, thrombocytopenia (low blood platelet count).

Respiratory : Shortness of breath.

Other Precautions : •Regular blood tests will be required during treatment to check for serious adverse effects on the blood like acute myeloid leukemia or myelodysplastic syndrome.

Drug Name : Rucaparib

Rucaparib generic Rucaparib belongs to a group of medications called poly (ADP-Ribose) polymerase (PARP) inhibitors. The drug is prescribed for the treatment of ovarian cancer in women with BRCA mutations (breast cancer gene mutations) who have been treated with two or more drugs. The drug mainly acts by killing the cancer cells.
