Side effect(s) of Phylloquinone

Most Common- Severe life threatening allergic reactions, pain, swelling or tenderness at the injection site.

Miscellaneous- Dizziness, “blue baby" who has a heart malformation, difficulty in breathing, sweating and low blood pressure.



Other Precautions : * Monitor prothrombin time (blood clotting time) regularly while taking this medication.

Drug Name : Phylloquinone

Phylloquinone(Mephyton) generic is often known as vitamin K1, prescribed for coagulation disorders (bleeding problems) in patients with vitamin K deficiency (e.g.,anticoagulant-induced prothrombin deficiency, hypoprothrombinemia). It helps the liver to produce blood-clotting factors.
