In males- Prepubertal: Penis enlargement and increased frequency or persistence of erection.

Post pubertal: Inhibition of testicular function, diminish in size of reproductive organs, absence of sperm cells, impotence, painful penis erection and bladder irritability.

In females- Clitoral enlargement and menstrual irregularities.

Central Nervous System- Habituation, excitement, sleeplessness, depression and changes in libido.

Blood- Bleeding.

Genitourinary- Breast enlargement in male

ENT- Deepening of the voice in females.

Skin- Acne, excessive hair growth over the body and baldness in females.

Musculoskeletal- Premature closure of epiphyses (long bone) in children results in poor bone growth.

Metabolic- Decreased glucose tolerance, change in the level of liver enzymes and swelling in the extremities.

Other Precautions : *Avoid excess dosage.
