Side effect(s) of Nitroxazepine

   Heart
- Low blood pressure, high blood pressure, fast heart rate, palpitations, heart attack, abnormal heart rhythm, heart block, ECG changes, and stroke.

   Central Nervous System
- Confusional states (especially in the elderly) with hallucinations, disorientation, delusions; anxiety, restlessness, agitation; sleeplessness and abnormal dreams, numbness, tingling, incoordination, ataxia, tremors, seizures, alterations in EEG patterns, and ringing in the ear.

   Eye and ENT
- Dry mouth, and, blurred vision, disturbances of accommodation and dilatation of pupil.

   Allergic
- Skin rash, petechiae, hives, itching, sensitivity to light, swelling in the eyes, face and tongue and drug fever.

   Blood
- Bone marrow depression including agranulocytosis and eosinophilia.

   Gastrointestinal
- Nausea and vomiting, loss of appetite, stomach distress, diarrhea, peculiar taste, mouth ulcer, abdominal cramps, black tongue, constipation, paralytic ileus.

   Genitourinary
- Breast enlargement in the male, spontaneous milk secretion in the female, increased or decreased sexual drive, impotence, testicular swelling, elevation or blood sugar level, urinary retention, delayed micturition and dilation of the urinary tract.

   Miscellaneous
- Jaundice, abnormal liver function, weight gain or loss, perspiration, flushing, urinary frequency, drowsiness, dizziness, weakness and fatigue, headache, parotid swelling, hair loss and proneness to falling.

Other Precautions :

Avoid excess dosage.
