Drug Name : Gramicidin

Gramicidin generic Gramicidin is a mixture of three compounds gramicidins A, B, and C, which are obtained from the soil bacterial species Bacillus brevis. Gramicidin is active against gram-positive bacteria. It is used in the treatment of superficial eye, ear or skin infection of bacterial origin in combination with other antimicrobials, and sometimes a corticosteroid. It is too toxic to be used orally or via an injection. It stops the growth of cancer cells by blocking Tyrosine kinases.
