Side effect(s) of Glyburide

Read the side effects of Glyburide as described in the medical literature. In case of any doubt consult your doctor or pharmacist.

Metabolic - Decrease in sugar level.

Skin - Allergic reactions such as itching, redness, hives and bruising.

Blood - Anemia, decrease in platelets and white blood cells.

Miscellaneous - Drowsiness, dizziness, blurred vision and joint/muscle pain.

Other Precautions : *Avoid excess dosage.

Drug Name : Glyburide

Glyburide(Micronase) generic is an antidiabetic compound, prescribed for type 2 diabetes. It is not for treating type 1 diabetes. It reduces blood glucose by stimulating the pancreas to produce more insulin.
