• Gastrointestinal - Nausea, diarrhea, abdominal pain, constipation, vomiting, dry mouth, indigestion, flatulence, gastritis.
• Respiratory- Difficulty in breathing.
• Blood- Easy bruising
• Genitourinary- Urine discoloration
• Body as a whole- Back pain, fatigue, weakness
• Miscellaneous- Bacterial infection.

Drug Name : Entacapone

Entacapone(Comtan) generic is catechol-o-methyltransferase (COMT) inhibitor, used as an adjunct to levodopa/carbidopa to treat patients with idiopathic Parkinson‘s disease. It is used during the later stages when the patient does not respond well to levodopa/carbidopa. It increases the levels of levodopa/carbidopa in the brain, enhancing its effectiveness.
