Side effect(s) of Dolutegravir

Nausea, diarrhea, headache, dizziness, fatigue, weakness, increased cholesterol and triglycerides, hyperglycemia, increased creatinine kinase and upset stomach or indigestion, changes in body fat (lipodystrophy), changes in the immune system (immune reconstitution syndrome), trouble sleeping.

Other Precautions :

Take the missed dose as soon as you remember it. But if it is within 4 hours of your next dose, skip the missed dose and just take your next dose at the regular time. Do not take two doses at the same time to make up for a missed dose.

Dolutegravir(Tivicay) generic is an integrase inhibitor prescribed for the treatment of HIV-1 infection in adults and pediatric patients aged 12 years and older and weighing at least 40 kg. Dolutegravir works by blocking integrase, an HIV enzyme that prevents the replication and lowers the amount of HIV in the blood.
