Cetrorelix(Cetrotide) generic is an injectable gonadotropin-releasing hormone antagonist (GnRH antagonist), prescribed for preventing premature ovulation during controlled ovarian stimulation. It prevents ovulation by blocking the hormone (gonadotropin-releasing hormone-GnRH) that causes egg to be released.
