Side effect(s) of Cemiplimab-rwlc

  Gastrointestinal:
Nausea, loose stools, constipation, loss of appetite, pancreatitis, stomach pain, blood in stools, colitis

  Respiratory:
Cough, chest pain, breathing difficulty, pneumonitis

  Skin:
Rash, itching, skin redness, mouth ulcers

  Musculoskeletal:
Muscle pain, back pain, neck pain, pain in the legs or hands

  Lab abnormalities:
Low levels of red blood cells, lymphocytes, albumin, sodium, calcium, and phosphate. High levels of liver enzymes

  Others:
Nephritis, thyroid disorders, type 1 diabetes, hypophysitis or swelling of the pituitary glands, liver damage, abnormal heartbeat, weakness

Other Precautions :

Extreme caution is required while cemiplimab-rwlc is given to the patients who undergo organ transplant or with a history of the following conditions-

• Breathing disorder
• Liver disease
Kidney damage
• Diabetes
• Thyroid disorders
Ulcerative colitis or Crohn’s disease

FDA-approved Cemiplimab-rwlc injection is used for treating cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma (CSCC), a specific type of skin cancer. It is used in patients with locally advanced or whose cancer cells have moved to other body parts and who cannot undergo surgery or radiation.
