Side effect(s) of Brexpiprazole

Read the side effects of Brexpiprazole as described in the medical literature. In case of any doubt consult your doctor or pharmacist.

General:Tiredness, headache, high blood glucose or triglyceride levels.

Gastrointestinal System: Diarrhea, indigestion, weight gain, constipation.

Cardiovascular system: Increased incidence of stroke in elderly patients with dementia-related psychosis, dizziness.

Central Nervous System: Akathisia (movement disorder), tremor, sedation, anxiety, restlessness.



Other Precautions :  Brexpiprazole should be cautiously used in patients with history of seizures or aspiration pneumonia.

Do not get up too quickly from the lying position as the drug may cause dizziness, lightheadedness or fainting.

Do not discontinue the drug immediately even if you feel well, as it might sometimes produce withdrawal symptoms.
