How to Take Voglibose and it's Dose

It comes as a tablet to take by mouth, with food.

Dosage & When it is to be taken

PO- The recommended dose is 200-300 mcg 3 times/day.

When it is not to be taken (Contraindications)

Contraindicated in patients with inflammatory bowel disease, gastrointestinal obstruction, hernia, severe ketosis, diabetic hypersensitivity, pregnancy, lactation. Not to be used as single therapy in Insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus (IDDM).

Drug Name : Voglibose

This medication is an alpha-glucosidase inhibitor, prescribed for diabetes mellitus.
