How it should be taken

Usual Adult Dose - 0.5 mL IM once.

When it is not to be taken (Contraindications) 

Contraindicated in patients with encephalopathy within 7 days after prior pertussis vaccine and hypersensitivity.

Warnings and Precautions  

Caution should be exercised in patients with history of high fever, neurologic disorder, seizures, Guillain-Barré syndrome, poor immunity, any allergy, who are taking other medications, during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
