How to Take Sirolimus and it's Dose

It comes as a tablet to take by mouth, on an empty stomach or with food.

Dosage & When it is to be taken

Adult: PO- Low-moderate risk patients: 6 mg on day 1. Maintenance: 2 mg once daily, given 4 hour after ciclosporin.
High immunological risk patients: Recommended loading dose: 15 mg. Maintenance: 5 mg/day.

When it is not to be taken (Contraindications)

Hypersensitivity.

Drug Name : Sirolimus

This medication is an immunosuppressant, prescribed for preventing rejection of kidney transplants either alone or with other medications.
