How to Take Sevelamer and it's Dose

It comes as a tablet to take by mouth, with food.

Dosage & When it is to be taken

PO- The recommended starting dose is 800 to 1600 mg three times per day.

When it is not to be taken (Contraindications)

Contraindicated in patients with bowel obstruction, hypophosphatemia, and hypersensitivity.

Drug Name : Sevelamer

This medication is a phosphate-binding agent, prescribed for hyperphophataemia.
