• Nimotuzumab should be administered diluted in 0.9% sodium chloride over 60 minutes in adults.
Dosage & When it is to be taken
• The recommended dose of the drug in adults is 200 mg as a continuous intravenous infusion weekly with combination of radiation therapy for 6 weeks followed by 200 mg every 15 days as maintenance treatment.
When it is not to be taken (Contraindications)
• The drug is contraindicated if the patient is allergic to drug, or during pregnancy and breastfeeding in women.
