How to Take Morrhuate Sodium Injection and it's Dose


It comes as a solution for injection, to be administered by a healthcare provider into the vein.

Dosage & When it is to be taken

IV- For Small and Medium Veins- The usual adult dose is 50- 100 mg (1-2 mL of the 5% injection).
For large veins- 150- 250 (3-5 mL of the injection).

When it is not to be taken (Contraindications)

Contraindicated in patients with infection of the blood, tuberculosis (TB), blood clots in the veins, tumors, cancer, varicosities caused by abdominal and pelvic tumors, and hypersensitivity.
