How to Take Loteprednol and it's Dose


It comes as a drops, instill into your eyes as per your doctor's advice.

Dosage & When it is to be taken

Ophthalmic- Allergic conjunctivitis- As 0.2% susp: Instill 1 drop 4 times/day for <2 weeks.
Ocular inflammation-As 0.5% suspension: Instill 1-2 drops 4 times/day. May start with 1 drop hourly, then reduce frequency gradually. Post-op ocular inflammation as 0.5% susp: Instill 1-2 drops 4 times/day, beginning 24 hour post-op for 2 weeks.

When it is not to be taken (Contraindications)

Contraindicated in patients with bacterial or viral infections, and hypersensitivity.
