It comes as a tablet to take by mouth, with or without food.
• No dose modification is required while giving lorcaserin to patients with mild liver or kidney disease.
• Patient must be evaluated for weight loss after 12 weeks. If the patient has not lost at least 5% of weight, then the treatment with lorcaserin must be discontinued.
