• Ibalizumab-uiyk is available as an injection which should be administered by a trained healthcare provider directly into the vein as a slow infusion for about 15 to 30 minutes.
• Ibalizumab-uiyk should only be diluted with 250 ml of 0.9% sodium chloride injection and should be administered within 4 hours if stored at room temperature (below 25°C) or within 24 hours if stored in a refrigerator (2°C to 8°C).
• The refrigerated solution should be allowed to come to room temperature for at least 30 minutes before administration.
• After the completion of each infusion of ibalizumab-uiyk, it is recommended to flush the medication out with 30 ml of 0.9% sodium chloride.
• Any unused portion or partially used vials of ibalizumab-uiyk should be discarded.
• Dose modification is not necessary while treating with other antiretroviral medicines or while undergoing any other treatment.

When it is not to be taken (Contraindications)
Ibalizumab-uiyk should not be used in patients who are-• Allergic to ibalizumab-uiyk
• Pregnant and breastfeeding
• Below 18 years of age
