How to Take Hemin and it's Dose


It comes as a solution for injection to be administered by a healthcare provider into the vein.

Dosage & When it is to be taken

IV- The recommended dose is 1 to 4 mg/kg/day, should be given over a period of 10 to 15 minutes for 3 to 14 days.

When it is not to be taken (Contraindications)

Contraindicated in patients who are taking anticoagulants, and hypersensitivity.
