How to Take Etidronate and it's Dose

It comes as a tablet to take by mouth with or without food.

Dosage & When it is to be taken

Adult: PO-The recommended dose is 5 to 7.5mg/kg/day.

When it is not to be taken (Contraindications)

Contraindicated in people with low blood calcium level, esophagus problem, unable to stand or sit for more than half an hour.

Drug Name : Etidronate

This medication is a bisphosphonate, prescribed for Paget's disease, osteoporosis and hypercalcaemia.
