It comes as a tablet to take by mouth.

Dosage & When it is to be taken

PO: The recommended dose is 200 mg with each levodopa/carbidopa up to a maximum of 1600 mg/day.

When it is not to be taken (Contraindications)

Hypersensitivity.

Drug Name : Entacapone

This medication is catechol-o-methyltransferase (COMT) inhibitor, used as an adjunct to levodopa/carbidopa to treat patients with idiopathic Parkinson‘s disease.
