How to Take Dutasteride and it's Dose

It comes as a capsule to take by mouth, with or without food.

Dosage & When it is to be taken

Adult: PO- 500 mcg daily (treatment for 6 month may be required before benefit is obtained).

When it is not to be taken (Contraindications)

Contraindicated in patients with severe liver impairment; pregnant women, children, adolescent.

Drug Name : Dutasteride

This medication is a 5-alpha-reductase inhibitor, prescribed for an enlarged prostate treatment.
