How to Take Dextromethorphan and Quinidine and it's Dose


It comes as a capsule to take by mouth, as directed by your physician.

Dosage & When it is to be taken

The recommended starting dose is one capsule daily by mouth for first 7 days, then 2 capsules per day.

When it is not to be taken (Contraindications)

Contraindicated in patients with a prolonged QT interval, congenital long QT syndrome, who are taking monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs), and hypersensitivity.

This combination medication contains CYP2D6 inhibitor and a sigma-1 receptor agonist, prescribed for pseudobulbar affect (PBA).
