How to Take Dexibuprofen and it's Dose


It comes as a tablet to take by mouth, with food.

Dosage & When it is to be taken

Adult: PO - The recommended dose is 600-900 mg/day in 2-3 divided doses, up to 1,200 mg/day in acute exacerbations.

When it is not to be taken (Contraindications)

Contraindicated inpatients with hypersensitivity to aspirin or NSAIDs, gastrointestinal ulcer or bleeding, bleeding disorders, active Crohn's disease, kidney or liver impairment, heart disease, and during pregnancy (third trimester).

This medication is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug, prescribed for moderate to severe pain such as dysmenorrhea, toothache, osteoarthritis.
