How to Take Carbocisteine and it's Dose


It comes as a capsule and syrup to take by mouth, with food.

Dosage & When it is to be taken

PO- Initial: The recommended dose is 750 mg 3 times/day, then 1.5 g/day in divided doses.

When it is not to be taken (Contraindications)

Contraindicated in patients with active ulcer.
