How to Take Canagliflozin and it's Dose

It comes as a tablet to take by mouth, should be taken before the first meal of the day.

Dosage & When it is to be taken

PO- The recommended initial dose is 100 mg once daily.

When it is not to be taken (Contraindications)

Contraindicated in patients with severe kidney impairment, ESRD, or on dialysis and known hypersensitivity.

Drug Name : Canagliflozin

This medication is an antidiabetic (sodium glucose co-transporter 2 (SGLT2) inhibitor), prescribed for type 2 diabetes mellitus along with diet and exercise.
