How to Take C- 1 Esterase Inhibitor and it's Dose

It comes as a powder for injection (diluted with fluid) to be administered by a healthcare provider into the vein.

Dosage & When it is to be taken

Adult- IV- The recommended dose is 1000units, for every 3 to 4 days.

When it is not to be taken (Contraindications)

Contraindicated in patients with severe life threatening allergic reactions.

This medication is an esterase inhibitor, prescribed for angioedema with hereditary angioedema (HAE).
