Dosage & When it is to be taken
Life-Threatening Ventricular Arrhythmias-
Adults- IV- The recommended dose is 5 to 10 mg/kg.
IV- 50mg/kg/dose followed by 10mg/kg at 10 to 30 min intervals.

Why it is prescribed (Indications)
This medication is an antiarrhythmic agent, prescribed for ventricular fibrillation and life-threatening ventricular arrhythmia. It blocks the release of noradrenaline from nerve system.
Warnings and Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with history of low or high blood pressure, severe heart disease, blocked blood vessels, lung, liver or kidney disease, children, during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
It may cause dizziness and lightheadedness, get up slowly from bed.
Store it at room temperature (25°C).
