It comes as a solution for injection to be administered by a healthcare provider into the vein.

Dosage & When it is to be taken

Adult: IV- The recommended dose is 20 mg within 2 hours before transplant. Repeat once 4 days later.

When it is not to be taken (Contraindications)

Hypersensitivity.

Drug Name : Basiliximab

This medication is a monoclonal antibody, prescribed for prevention of rejection in renal transplant patients.
