It comes as a tablet and capsule to take by mouth, with or without food.

Dosage & When it is to be taken
The oral dose for adults is 325 to 650 mg every 4 to 6 hours. The maximum daily dose is 4 grams.Child- the recommended dose is 10 to 15 mg/kg every 4 to 6 hours.
