How it should be taken  

It comes as a capsule to take by mouth, with food.

Dosage & When it is to be taken

PO- Per cap contains levodopa 100 mg and benserazide 25 mg: Initial: 1 cap 1-2 times/day. May increase if needed. Max: 12 caps/day.

When it is not to be taken (Contraindications) 

Hypersensitivity.

Why it is prescribed (Indications)  

This medication is a peripherally-acting aromatic L-amino acid decarboxylase (AAAD) or DOPA decarboxylase inhibitor, prescribed for Parkinson's syndrome. 

Warnings and Precautions  

Caution should be exercised in patients with history of unexplained skin spots, kidney disease, liver disease, heart disease, ulcers, stomach problems, increased eye pressure, psychiatric illness, depression, any allergy, during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Storage Conditions  

Store it at room temperature.
