When and How to Take Bendamustine

• Bendamustine is available as a solution or as a powder that must be mixed with liquid and injected intravenously (into a vein) over 10 minutes or infused over 30 or 60 minutes by a healthcare provider.
• Patients will be given Bendamustine for 2 days during each of your prescribed treatment cycles. (For CLL, each treatment cycle lasts 28 days. For NHL, each treatment cycle lasts 21 days).
• Bendamustine may be given with other medications to prevent certain of its side effects.
• Bendamustine dosage and schedule will be determined by your doctor depending on several criteria including your height, weight, blood count and any other medical conditions.
• If you experience discomfort, irritation, redness, or swelling at the injection site contact your doctor.
