   Most Common : Hair loss.

   Gastrointestinal : Constipation, abdominal cramps, weight loss, nausea, vomiting, mouth ulceration, diarrhea, intestinal necrosis and loss of appetite.

   Genitourinary : Painful urination, bed-wetting and increased urination.

   Heart : High/low blood pressure and heart attack.

   Blood : Bone marrow depression.

   Miscellaneous : Fever and headache.

Dosage & When it is to be taken (Indications)

Adult- PO- The recommended dose is 1.4-1.5 mg/m2 once weekly. Max: 2 mg/week.

How to use Vincristine Sulphate?

It comes as a solution for injection to be administered by a healthcare provider into the vein.

When is Vincristine Sulphate not to be taken? (Contraindications)

Contraindicated in patients with demyelinating form of Charcot-Marie-Tooth syndrome (an inherited disorder of nerves).

Warnings and Precautions for Vincristine Sulphate

Caution should be exercised in patients with history of infection, decrease in blood counts, blood problems due to chemotherapy, liver disease, muscle problems, nerve disease, any allergy, during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

• It may cause dizziness or lightheadedness, do not drive a car or operate machinery while taking this medication.
