When is Fusiderm (10 gm) prescribed?

It is prescribed for -

⇨ Boils / Skin Abscess

What should be the dose and frequency?

Adult: PO – The recommended dose is 250 mg twice daily.
Topical- 2% Ointment/Cream- Apply on infected areas 2-3 times daily.

What are the common side effects of Fusiderm (10 gm)

Most Common : Jaundice and liver dysfunction (reversible).

Local : Rashes and irritation.

How to use Fusiderm (10 gm)?

It comes as an ointment or cream, to apply topically as directed by your physician.
It also comes as a liquid to take by mouth, with food.

Hypersensitivity.
