Dosage & When it is to be taken (Indications)

The usual dose is 100mg twice a day.
Children: 5mg/kg of body weight in 2 or 3 divided doses.

Side effects of Amidase -N

Gastrointestinal : Abdominal discomfort, heartburn, abdominal cramps, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea.

Central Nervous System : Headache, dizziness and drowsiness.

Genitourinary : Blood in urine, decrease in urination and kidney failure.

How to use Amidase -N?

It comes as a tablet to take by mouth, with food.

When Should Amidase -N not be taken? (Contraindications)

Contraindicated in patients with gastrointestinal bleeding, ulcer, severe kidney, liver disease, bleeding disorders, and hypersensitivity.

Warnings and Precautions for Amidase -N

Caution should be exercised in patients with history of stomach problem, high blood pressure, fluid retention, elderly, during pregnancy and breast-feeding.
