Side effects of Mecobalamin

   Oral : Loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea.


   Parenteral : Rash, headache, hot sensation, sweating, itching , swelling and pain/induration at injection site.

When is Mecobalamin not to be taken? (Contraindications)

Methylcobalamin is contraindicated if the patients are allergic to the drug.
