    Dosage & When it is to be taken (Indications)

    Adult: The usual adult, oral dosage is 2 to 3 tablespoonfuls (30 to 45 mL, containing 20 g to 30 g of lactulose) three or four times daily.

    Gastrointestinal : Flatulence, belching and abdominal discomfort.

    How to use Normalac?

    It comes as a powder to take by mouth, with or without food.

    Contraindicated in patients who require a low galactose diet and intestinal obstruction.
