Dosage & When it is to be taken (Indications)

Adult: The usual adult, oral dosage is 2 to 3 tablespoonfuls (30 to 45 mL, containing 20 g to 30 g of lactulose) three or four times daily.

How to use Darix?

It comes as a powder to take by mouth, with or without food.

When is Darix not to be taken? (Contraindications)

Contraindicated in patients who require a low galactose diet and intestinal obstruction.

Caution should be exercised in patients with history of diabetes or who require a low-lactose diet, during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
