GI disturbances, skin reaction, decrease in blood cell counts, jaundice, vomiting, diarrhea and stomach inflammation.

Dosage & When it is to be taken (Indications)

PO- Initially start with 160mgs daily in two divided doses. May go up to 320 mgs daily in two divided doses.

How to use Glyclamin?

It comes as a tablet to take by mouth, with food.

When is Glyclamin not to be taken? (Contraindications)

Contraindicated in patients with diabetic-ketoacidosis, severe liver and kidney impairment, and hypersensitivity.

Warnings and Precautions for Glyclamin

Caution should be exercised in patients with history of liver, kidney problems, any allergy, during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

• Monitor bloodsugar level regularly while taking this medication.

Other Precautions for Glyclamin

Avoid excess dosage.
