Side effects of Dabaz

   Most Common : Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea and loss of appetite.

   Miscellaneous : Hair loss, tingling, photosensitivity, rashes and facial flushing.

   Liver : Liver damage.

Dosage & When it is to be taken (Indications)

Malignant Melanoma: The recommended dosage is 2 to 4.5mg/kg/day for 10 days. Treatment may be repeated at 4-week intervals.
Hodgkin's Disease: The recommended dose is 150mg/square meter body surface/day for 5 days.

How to use Dabaz?

It comes as a solution for injection to be administered by a healthcare provider into the vein.

When is Dabaz not to be taken? (Contraindications)

Contraindicated in patients with bone marrow suppression and hypersensitivity.

Warnings and Precautions for Dabaz

Caution should be exercised in patients with history of liver disease, any allergy, who are taking other medications, during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

• Avoid drinking alcoholic beverages and citrus fruit juices.

Avoid excess dosage.
